Contrary to popular belief, not all Professional Organizers are born with an innate, natural ability and talent to organize. I believe my early interest in organizing was due to a feeling of disorganization both internally and externally. Yes, in my younger days, I had organizational issues. Over the years though, and with lots of trial and error, I learned how to get organized and stay that way. What an incredible feeling it was and still is!!! In the process of trying to simplify and downsize my life and surroundings, I realized that not only had I developed a talent for organizing, but that I also had a passion for it!
So after 20 plus years in the corporate world, I decided to go for it and Perfectly Clear Organizing was born. In my corporate life, I worked at an investment banking firm and managed the coordination and organization of moves within the company. My team and I would successfully move anywhere from 20 to 1,000 people with equipment, furniture and files over the course of one weekend. Moves of this size and nature required extremely high levels of organization and creativity while working to meet strict deadlines. As many of these moves were on the trading floor, it was critical that everything be up and running 100% on Monday morning.
As an Organizer, my goal is to help my clients feel lighter, live freer, reduce stress and create balance in their lives. Removing the clutter enables one to gain energy and be more productive, thus allowing new and wonderful things to happen in your life.
Having had organizational issues of my own, I understand how overwhelming and difficult it is. I am compassionate and totally nonjudgmental towards those with similar issues.
I am a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO) and The National Study Group on Chronically Disorganized (NSGCD).
